THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSESSMENT CENTER: The purpose is to define the critical success factors for a certain job position and their systematic evaluation. The criteria are well defined and their choice is based on the analysis of the job description and the job objectives. The most important aspects in analising the job description are related to: • The definition of tasks and responsibilities of the job • The definition of activities connected to he job position • The definition of the external environment (market, clients aso.) and the internal company environment. • The definition of the critical success factors • The definition of abilities and knowledge required by the job
The professional methods used are: activities, imposed or free, professional tests, psychological tests, simulations of scenarios and role-plays, individual and group interviews. The activities are built in such a way that they reflect real situations in order to show that the assessed persons have all the capacities and necessary training for the job position. Practically, the simulation involves imposed exercises from the daily activity of the candidates or employees.
